What is an “Entrepreneur”?
• What do you think of when we talk about entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship?

• The Oxford English Dictionary has three definitions of “Entrepreneur”– The director or manager of a public
musical institution– One who ‘gets up’ entertainments, esp.
musical performances– One who undertakes an enterprise; one who
owns and manages a business; a person who takes the risk of profit or loss

• Creative entrepreneurship is the practice of setting up yourself up in one of the creative industries– The focus of the creative entrepreneur differs from
that of the typical business entrepreneur or the social entrepreneur in that the primary aim is the creation and exploitation of creative or intellectual capital
