STRANUOTATA (SWIMMING RACE) AND MUSIC EVENINGMonday 1st July the first edition of the Stranuotata, Swimming race in the sea. The race is of over 1000m in the sea and is open for adults and children. The start is scheduled at 10.30 am on the east part of the beach, the last jetty, and the finish line is the jetty on the west side. The length of the race is 1000 metres and it will be supervised by our life guards. All participants will receive a medal, whereas the winners of each category will receive a cup. We would like to remind you that the participation is free of charge and to take part you can go to the Animation Office to put your name down!

MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT “DOVE C’E’ MUSICA” Monday  1st  July  from  9.00  pm  special music  appointment  in  Piazza  Lido  with the band “Dove c’è musica” The repertory of “Dove c’è Musica” is a tribute to the famous singer Eros Ramazzotti and to all his greatest hits!

BLUE FLAG For the eight year running the Riviera of Cavallino‐Treporti has been awarded the ‘Blue Flag’ for its beaches, which is an annual award given by the FEE Italia for clean beaches. Founded in 1987, the European year of the environment, the campaign spans over various European countries of the FEE, Foundation for Environmental Education. The ‘Blue Flag’ for the beaches is assigned for: the quality/cleanliness of the water, of the coastline, the facilities and the safety, as well as general overall environmental education.

PROMO ACTIVITY Every Sunday evening in Piazza Venezia you will have all the information about excursions and routes to get to Venice and to explore the Cavallino ‐ Treporti lagoon, to play the sports which Union Lido and Cavallino Sport Center offers to their guests and on the events which will take place, during the week, in the different locations of our Resort. Our animators will be present to have a first meeting with our youngest guests and to explain all the animation activities, from the mini club in the morning to the mini disco in the evening. We wait for you!

CORTINA AND THE DOLOMITS Departure  from  the  campsite  at  7.30  am  for the Alps. Drive passed Vittorio Veneto and the Passo  del  Fadalto,  arriving  at  the  Lake  Santa Croce, where you can stop off for a break. You will  then  head  for  Ponte  nelle  Alpi  and  for Longarone,  that  reminds  us  of  the  tradegy  of 1963. You will then arrive at Cadore, where you can admire  the summits of  the dolomites;  the Sorapis,  the  Pelmo,  the  Antelao,  the  Cinque Torri. You will arrive  in Cortina at 12.00 noon, and go off for your  lunch break (not  included). In Cortina you can use  the cable railway  to go up  the  Mount  Faloria,  where  you  will  see  a breathtaking panoramic view over Cortina and the surrounding mountains: Tofane and Mount Cristallo.  You  will  leave  Cortina  at  3pm  and  after  30 minutes  you will  be  at  Lake Misurina, where there will be a break before embarking on the return journey, with another break at the Lake Santa Croce.  Approx. arrival on the campsite at 7.00 pm.

Most probably you will want to visit Venice. We would advise to wear suitable clothing especially for visiting churches and museums. Venice will be grateful for your visit and will be happy to invite you again. There is always a lot to discover in Venice. Time there has come to a standstill and this makes the city magnificently different from all the others. Venice is unique in itself. If you decide to visit Venice by yourself, you can use the excellent bus‐boat public service. From 13.05 to 21.09 there will be also a special ATVO bus from Union Lido to Punta Sabbioni and back, every day except Sundays and festivities.  

SPECIAL BUSES: UNION LIDO‐PUNTA SABBIONI: Until 21.09 from Union Lido to Punta Sabbioni every day except Sundays and festivities. Stop outside the Resort, next to the Conference Hall. At 08.00 am ‐ 08.30 am ‐ 09.00 am ‐ 09.30 am‐ 10.00 am‐10.30 am ‐ 11.00 am‐ 12.30 am‐ 13.00 pm UNION LIDO‐ CAVALLINO MARKET: Until 10.09 on Tuesdays every 20 minutes. Bus stop outside the resort, next to the Conference Hall from 8.00 am to about 13.00 am ATVO BUS (line 5): ATVO stop to Jesolo on the right side of the street and to Punta Sabbioni in front of Union Lido, every day every 30 minutes.  You cannot buy tickets on the bus. You can purchase them at the Information Office and in the Art & Park Hotel.

CARPACCIO Restaurant Pizzeria Winebar ‐ Cuisine made in Italy, with a regional flavour!  New management and a new name for the restaurant at the entrance to the Resort, where you can rediscover the roots of the food and wine culture of various Italian regions.  Chef Roberto Attanasi offers simple, natural cuisine, inspired by rediscovered ingredients linked to tradition and savoir faire.  Guests have a vast and exciting choice: homemade egg pasta, risotto , carpaccio,  meat and fish cooked in pink, blue, red or black natural salt, a tasty ham corner and a selection of olive oils from Tuscany, Liguria, Sicily and more – ending with coffee prepared in a Neapolitan‐style coffee maker.   Enjoy the best of the dolce vita… Carpaccio  is also a pizzeria with a wood burning oven, where the pizza is made using only 100% Italian stone milled flour, sourdough yeast , a slow rising process, San Marzano tomatoes, fiordilatte and buffalo mozzarella.  You can also enjoy unpasteurised artisan beers, natural drinks like cola, fizzy orange and juices with no colours or preservatives, as well as other selected Slow Food products that can be purchased directly.   

   

  

 

 

  

 The use of bikes or electric city rollers is only allowed to guests who are staying in  remote parts of  the campsite.  In any case,  it  is only allowed  for coming  in and going out, using exclusively Via Bologna, Via Verona, Via Torino and Via Cavallino. We  ask  you  to  take  great  care  using  mono‐skateboards  for  the  safety  of everybody.

W10 LEISURE BUILDING The exclusive W10 Leisure Building is a new health concept that is completely unprecedented in the world of camping parks. The multi‐purpose building has a 13m x 5,3m indoor endless pool, an 9m x 7,8m outdoor pool, a steam bath, hydro‐massage tubs, an indoor relaxation area and solarium. Accessible to the differently‐abled. The entrance fee is not included in the campsite price.  From 24.04  to 17.05 and from 07.09 to 29.09 from 8.00 am to 12.00 am and from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm From 18.05 to 06.09 from 08.00 am to 12.00 am and from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Prices: Admission charge (2 hours): € 3,50  ‐  Additional charge (at  the beginning of each subsequent half hour): € 1,00  Included in the price access to the covered pool, to the open‐air multifunction pools, the safe relax area, changing rooms, steam room. Entrance to the steam room forbidden to persons aged under 14 years. Entrance to the swimming pools forbidden to persons aged under 14 years unless accompanied by their parents.   When checking  in, all guests will be given a SECURITY PIN CODE that can be used to enter the W10 Leisure Building (the code will be the same for all members of the family or group). The entrance costs will be added to your account and must be paid at the cashier’s office when you leave.
