Good afternoon Parents, Guardians and Students,
A huge thank you is given to our students who
delighted, surprised and lovingly thanked their Mum’s on Friday afternoon during the Mother’s day presentation. Your songs, poems, written pieces and lip sync items were touching yet humorous!!
This coming week students in Years 3, 5, 7 & 9 will be sitting NAPLAN tests on Tuesday through to Thursday. The tests will occur each morning fi rst up, so it is important that students are here on time each day.
It would also be great if students maintained a good sleep and nutrition pattern over the week, inorder to perform at their optimum. Results from NAPLAN test are not received
until late September.
The next parent event is, Open Night - June 6th. Each class will have an interactive display and an Arts piece created by each Primary class will be auctioned on the night. Proceeds made on the evening will be given to the Year 10 mission trip. Please plan to attend.
Wishing you all the best in the coming week.
Kind RegardsSandra FerryPrincipal.

District SoccerLast Thursday students from year 7, 9 and 10 participated in the Interschool Soccer competition. Our fi rst game was against Coomealla; while we scored in the fi rst 10 seconds, the game was close all the way and ended 3-4.
We then faced a much tougher team in Irym-ple and fought out a 1-1 draw. Our fi nal game was against Trinity and after a close fi rst half we ended up losing 3-1. All students are to be commended for their excellent sportsman-ship and positive atti-tudes. Well done boys!Morgan Smith
District Cross CountryOn the 7th of May, 18 of our students who were 9, 10, 11 and 12 year olds competed in the District Cross Country. Our students did an awesome job and ev-eryone tried their best! A massive congrats to Kareem for placing 12th in his age group. He qualifi ed to represent Sunraysia in an upcom-ing cross country event
in St Arnaud. Thanks to Mrs Lang and Pr G for coming to assist and also a special thanks is given to the parents who came to support our students. It was a great day! Brooke Davidson

their concerns on the issues of Religious Freedom at a Parliamentary level. The fl yer is an attempt to encourage each of us to stay informed and aware of what the different parties have to say about protecting the values of our schools, our staff and our students when it comes to Religious Freedom. Our vote will matter this election.

Woolworths Earn & LearnThis year we will be participat-ing in the Woolworths Earn & Learn program. Through this program we will be able to get new educational resources for our school– and all we need you to do is shop for your gro-ceries at Woolworths.

At the end of the promotion, we’ll be able to get some great new equipment. The range is extensive and offers lots of items ideal for our stu-dents – including resources
