RUNNING SMOOTH
RB Carnell Cadillac Williams was
given his nickname by a high school
broadcaster in Alabama who described
Williams as a back that ran so smooth
like a Cadillac.
Williams signed with the Rams as a
free agent in August to backup Steven
Jackson. In the teams 2011 opener,
Jackson suffered a quad injury in the
first quarter, and Williams was smooth
in deed while playing in place of the
three-time Pro Bowler.
Through three weeks, Williams is the Rams leading rusher as h
gained 202 yards on 40 carries. Hes also third on the team in rece
tions with nine.

Rams QB Sam Bradford has thrown just one interception in 108
attempts this season, giving him a 0.009 interception percentage
on the year. Thats the lowest percentage in the NFL among quali-
fying quarterbacks this season.
As a rookie, Bradford tossed 18 touchdown passes to just 15 inter-
ceptions. Combined with this season, Bradford has 698 attempts
and just 16 interceptions, a rate of 0.0229, which is the lowest
career rate in Rams history (minimum 500 attempts).
Bradford set a new single-game career high two weeks ago as hepassed for 331 yards against the New York Giants. He completed
22-of-46 throws with one touchdown and no interceptions in his
Monday Night Football debut. He tossed a touchdown pass to
Brandon Gibson last week against the Ravens.
In three games this year, Bradford has passed for 685 yards with
two touchdowns and one interception.
PROTECTING TH E BALL
QB Sam Bradford has protected the football well throughout his career, and his interception percent-age is the lowest in the NFL this season as well as the lowest in Rams history.
During his standout rookie season, Rams
QB Sam Bradford saw his name attached
to numerous NFL rookie records.
While proud of his statistical accomplish-
ments, Bradford has always maintained
that the win-loss column is really the only
item hes interested in tracking.
That being the case, Bradford did make
an impact in his favorite statistic. His
seven wins are the most by a rookie
quarterback drafted number one overall
since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970.
Bradford took over a team that went 1-15 in 2009 and led the Rams
to a 7-9 record.

DE Chris Long closes in on Eli Manning for one of the Rams three sacks in Week 2. The Ramshave eight sacks as a team through three games this season.
S Quintin Mikell, who signed with theRams as a free agent this summer, has provided an immediate impact onSt. Louis defense.
The nine-year veteran has been a partof a takeaway in each of his first threegames in St. Louis.
In his Rams debut, Mikell sackedEagles QB Michael Vick and forceda fumble, which was recovered by LBJames Laurinaitis.
In Week 2 in New York, Mikell endedthe Giants opening drive of the gamewhen he intercepted Eli Manning deepin New York territory.
Last week, he pounced on a Joe Flacco fumble after LB ChrisChamberlain had knocked the ball away from Baltimores quarter-back.
Mikell, who spent his first eight NFL seasons with the Eagles, boasts career totals of 5.0 sacks and 11 interceptions. Rams HeadCoach Steve Spagnuolo was Mikells position coach during Mikellsfirst NFL season and in all, the two spent four seasons together in
Philadelphia.
WELCOME ABOARD
S Quintin Mikell celebrates an inter-ception with LB Ben Leber.
The Rams used the 14th overall pick in
last years draft on a young pass rusher
who they hoped would help them get
after the quarterback, and DE Robert
Quinn has quickly shown flashes of why
he was highly coveted in April.
Last week against Baltimore, Quinn
was credited with four quarterback hitson Joe Flacco.
In Week 2 at New York, the North
Carolina product saw his first NFL
action and delivered his first NFL sack
in the process as he dropped Eli Manning for an 8-yard loss in
third quarter.
Getting to the quarterback was Quinns specialty in college. A
sophomore in 2009 at North Carolina, he was the runner up
the ACCs Defensive Player of the Year award as he recorded 1

If you want to find Rams MLB James Laurinaitis on the football field,
one can often simply follow the ball, because the third-year pro seems
to always be around it.
Laurinaitis is again the Rams leader in tackles as hes racked up 23
through three games.
He led all NFL rookie linebackers in tackles in 2009, and he followed
up his stellar rookie campaign with a strong performance in his sopho-
more NFL season. Laurinaitis led St. Louis with 129 stops last season
and became the first Ram since Pisa Tinoisoma to record 100 tackles
in each of his first two seasons.
Laurinaitis rarely comes off the field, and he played in a team-high
1,093 snaps in 2010. His ability to help in the passing game as well as
the run is a huge asset for the Rams. The former Ohio State Buckeye
had seven passes defensed, one interception and three sacks on the
year. Among Rams, only starting cornerbacks Ron Bartell (13) and
Bradley Fletcher (12) had more pass breakups.
MAN IN THE MIDDLE
Linebacker James Laurinaitis once again finds himself atop the Rams list of leading tacklers.
In his 12th NFL season, DE James Hall continues to be a rock for the
Rams defense. Two weeks ago at New York, Hall recorded his first
sack of the season, and he has seven tackles and three quarterback
pressures on the year.
In 2010, Hall led St. Louis with 10.5 sacks on the year and also
recorded 57 tackles, including two for loss. Hall also led the Rams
and tied for second in the NFL with six forced fumbles last season.
Hall now has 58.0 career sacks. His 10.5 sacks last year was his
second-highest single season total of his career (11.5 in 2004). Hefinished last season ranked ninth in the NFC in sacks.
A HALL OF A PLAYER
DE James Hall had 10.5 sacks in 2010, which was his second-best season total of his 11-yearcareer. Hes seen here sacking Matt Cassel during a preseason game in August.
DE Chris Long is off to a hot sta2011 as hes picking up from whhe left off a year ago.
Long has picked up a sack in eacthe Rams first three games to ghim 3.0 on the season. Hes recorded at least one sack in 10 olast 14 games. Last Sunday marthe eighth time Long has recordesack in back-to-back weeks du
his four-year career. Last week the second time hes had a sacthree-consecutive weeks.
According to StatsPass.com, Lwas credited with 36 combined qterback hits and knockdowns
season, which tied with Seahawks DE Chris Clemons for the nmost in the NFL last season.
In Week 6 against San Diego last year, Long turned in his first tsack performance of the season and second of his career. Forefforts, Long was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week.
LONG ON TALENT
DE Chris Long
The Rams opening day roster featured nine veteran free agents,
they can only hope theyll make the impact that DT Fred Robbins
as a new addition last year.
Robbins set a new career high with 6.0 sacks in 2010 and had a
impact on the Rams defense. He held off blockers to allow Jam
Laurinaitis to run free, and his pass rush acumen drew the atten
of opposing offenses and helped his defensive line mates.
Among NFC defensive tackles, only Ndamukong Suh (10) and Cu
Jenkins (7) had more sacks last season than Robbins 6. Saints
Sedrick Ellis also had 6.
On the season, Robbins had 24 total tackles, including four for leight quarterback hits and seven passes defensed. He was a
reason why the Rams saw a big improvement against the run
on third down.
Robbins came to the Rams after six seasons with the New Y
Giants. During two of those seasons, Steve Spagnuolo was
Giants defensive coordinator. Its no coincidence that those
campaigns were perhaps the best of Robbins career as he tied
previous career high in sacks (5.5) in each of those seasons and
a Pro Bowl alternate in 2008. He played a key role in New Yorks
to their Super Bowl XLII championship.
ROCKIN ROBBINS
Rams DT Fred Robbins drops Seattle RB Justin Forsett for a loss. After joining St. Louis as a freagent last spring, Robbins made a big impact on a much-improved Rams defense in 2010.
