How would you explain “verbal plenary” inspiration?


Why are other theories attractive?


Why are their limitations?


What are the evidences of inspiration?


How is the Person of Jesus related to inspiration?

10 years later, with most of those promises still unfulfilled, Abraham says,

“Uh, God,….what’s up with all those big ole promises you gave me? Not to be ungrateful, but they really haven’t shown up yet…

How can I know it’s really going to happen?”(Genesis 15:8)

God says, let’s “cut a covenant”.

Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, plus a dove and a young pigeon…a bloody sacrifice.

GenesisGod’s promises to us?

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ [a bloody sacrifice].

And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.
