Welcome to the last week of term one and the final week at Ronald Street

Last Wednesday was our annual Golf Day and Dinner and I believe we had the largest turnout

at dinner since the commencement of this event. The night ran smoothly and was a great

success due to the hard work done by the golf planning committee. A huge thankyou to all

members of the committee, particularly Cromehurst parents and staff who gave a huge

amount of their own time to organise the night and those staff members who volunteered to

assist on the night. We are grateful to all the sponsors golfers and dinner attendees who

contributed to our cause.

It is almost hard to believe that we are approaching the final week at Ronald Street. We will be

returning to the Lindfield site this Thursday April 10 and Friday April 11. Although there has been a

very slight delay in our completion date it is worth noting that the delay is only three weeks

which is rather amazing considering the huge scope of the project. We are very grateful to the

builders, Richard Crookes Construction for the speedy and efficient way they built our school

and the manner in which they accommodated us in every additional request we made. We

are commencing transition visits for the students from today and each class will have at least

two visits to the new school. We understand that this move may be difficult for our students

however the move to Ronald Street caused less distress than we anticipated so hopefully this

move may be as smooth. Once we return and additional students are placed it may be

necessary to rearrange some of our classes. If this is the case and your child is affected you will

be contacted by the school, please be assured that decisions will be made in the best interest

of your child and that all our classes provide quality individual programs.

The countdown is almost at an end and the top of a very steep mountain is in view. I know all

our families are as excited as we are at the prospect of returning to Lindfield and I would like to

thank everyone for their understanding, patience and support over the last nine months and

their support in finding alternative arrangements for their children during our moving days. Our

P&C are organising a get together for parents to tour the new building on a weekend early in

the new term. Information regarding this will be provided in week one or two.

Please note school returns for the new term (at Lindfield) on Tuesday April 29. I wish all our

families a well-earned enjoyable Easter and look forward to connecting with you all again next

term at Lindfield.

Regards

Christine
