good, non-hypocritical Muslim" allegedlyused sentences that insulted Muslims.

the Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak

was involved in the sensational killing of ayoung Mongolian woman, Altantuya

Shaariibuu.

implying the Najib Razak was involved in

the murder of the Mongolian woman.Thesedition charge stemmed from an article

titled "Let's Send the Altantuya Murderers

to Hell" that Raja Petra posted on theMalaysiaToday website.

y On April 23, 2009 a warrant of arrest hadbeen issued for Raja Petra Kamarudin when

he disappeared after failing to turn up in court

for his sedition trial.y In his blog, Raja Petra explained that he

wanted to avoid being detained under the

Internal Security Act again. He previously hadwarned his readers that he was the target ofyet another ISA arrest after Prime Minister

NajibTun Razak took power on April 3, 2009.

used in articles that alleged sodomy

accusations against opposition leader AnwarIbrahim were fabricated.

y Police, on 22 August raided the home of Raja

Petra, a computer, a scanner and documentswere seized.

typical twoor three bedroom flat in this area

has the average rental ofGBP 1,000-,1500 perweek. Realistically, for Raja Petra to have lived

in this neighbourhood would have costed

GBP 30,000 45,000 the last 30 weeks or so.That is effectively RM 165,000 RM 250,000.
