Principal’s Message Wow! What a privilege it was to once again, attend our Nativity production on Monday. It was a joy to watch the children perform with such enthusiasm and equally enjoyable to receive the positive feedback from our visitors. The Presentation Day and Sixth Grade Farewell were equally well received. The students’ behaviour filled me with pride. The huge amount of preparation by teachers is reflected in these positive behaviours and respect for one another. As the year draws to a close and we prepare for our Christmas break I have some heartfelt thank you messages. Firstly, to all the staff including our casual staff, who have worked to give our students excellent learning experiences this year, feedback at parent interviews and fabulous presentations. I know how much effort is needed for staff and students to co-ordinate all aspects of education and very much appreciate the work of my colleagues. Secondly to the students who have achieved personal best results in many areas. The softball team, PSSA sport groups, athletes chosen to represent in south coast teams, school choir, southern stars, mathematicians who have completed the Maths Olympiad, speakers involved in the debating and multicultural speeches, to name a few. You are regarded by many as being wonderful ambassadors for the school. The staff of Lindsay Park Public School are extremely proud of each and every one of their students and the achievements they have made, big or small, throughout the year. This is what makes our school such a great one! Thirdly to all parents who support the school. P&C, auxiliary, canteen, uniform shop, those who support fundraising ventures and community efforts and trans- port children to various venues. Last but not least, Marilyn and Dianne in the office deserve a special mention. They work tirelessly to provide the staff, students and parents with everything they need, often at very short notice. Their support for me throughout this year in my role as relieving principal, has been invaluable. I would like to thank my executive team, Mr McGuire, Assistant Principal Stage 3, Mrs Tome and Mrs Moerman for their exceptional work in relieving positions during the year. Our new Assistant Principal, Mr Jones will take over the reins of Stage 2 next year. I will continue on in the relieving role until at least the end of term one in the interests of stability. I would like to see in everyone settled into their roles and classes before any changes are made. On behalf of the staff of Lindsay Park Public School, I wish you all a wonderful, restful festive season and a rewarding 2012. Principal’s Message

Wow! What a privilege it was to once again, attend our Nativity production on

Monday. It was a joy to watch the children perform with such enthusiasm and

equally enjoyable to receive the positive feedback from our visitors.

The Presentation Day and Sixth Grade Farewell were equally well received. The

students’ behaviour filled me with pride. The huge amount of preparation by

teachers is reflected in these positive behaviours and respect for one another.

As the year draws to a close and we prepare for our Christmas break I have some

heartfelt thank you messages.

Firstly, to all the staff including our casual staff, who have worked to give our

students excellent learning experiences this year, feedback at parent interviews

and fabulous presentations.

I know how much effort is needed for staff and students to co-ordinate all aspects

of education and very much appreciate the work of my colleagues.

Secondly to the students who have achieved personal best results in many areas.

The softball team, PSSA sport groups, athletes chosen to represent in south coast

teams, school choir, southern stars, mathematicians who have completed the

Maths Olympiad, speakers involved in the debating and multicultural speeches, to

name a few. You are regarded by many as being wonderful ambassadors for the

school. The staff of Lindsay Park Public School are extremely proud of each and

every one of their students and the achievements they have made, big or small,

throughout the year. This is what makes our school such a great one!

Thirdly to all parents who support the school. P&C, auxiliary, canteen, uniform

shop, those who support fundraising ventures and community efforts and trans-

port children to various venues.

Last but not least, Marilyn and Dianne in the office deserve a special mention.

They work tirelessly to provide the staff, students and parents with everything

they need, often at very short notice. Their support for me throughout this year in

my role as relieving principal, has been invaluable.

I would like to thank my executive team, Mr McGuire, Assistant Principal Stage

3, Mrs Tome and Mrs Moerman for their exceptional work in relieving positions

during the year. Our new Assistant Principal, Mr Jones will take over the reins of

Stage 2 next year. I will continue on in the relieving role until at least the end of

On behalf of the staff of Lindsay Park Public

School, I wish you all a wonderful, restful festive
