Town to test flowfor fire hydrants
The Town of Kershawwill be testing the flow fortown fire hydrants inter-mittently during the nextthree to five weeks.
All hydrants will betested and properlypainted by the KershawFire Dept.
Local citizens are re-minded that they can ex-perience discolored watercaused by the testing andare asked to be patient asthe flow test is critical toproviding fire protectionto the town.
Town officials expresstheir thanks for the pa-tience and cooperation oftown residents in thismatter.
Bulldog AfterSchool Program
The Town of KershawRecreation Center’s“Bulldog After SchoolProgram” is still takingapplications for childrento attend the after schoolprogram. The cost is $9 aday for one child and $14a day for two siblings.

KCPC Bricks great wayto honor loved one
A great way to remem-ber family members andother loved ones is bypurchasing a brick fromthe Kershaw CommunityPark Council to be placedpermanently in the Me-morial Plaza being builtat the recreation center.
The first stage of theGarden Plaza at the Ker-shaw Bowling Alley willbe opening and they needto know how many brickswill be available. Eachbrick can have three linesand 14 characters (in-cluding spaces andpunctuation) on eachbrick and can be in mem-ory or honor of someone.
