Update: Happy Thanksgiving
5K Walk/Run for LUM — TOMORROW
It is not too late to
participate in
TOMORROW’s 5K
Walk/Run (Thanksgiving
Day, November 28).
We are very excited that
the 2nd Annual Tri-N-
Run Give Thanks 5K
(presented by Midwest
Rentals) supports
Lafayette Urban
Ministry.
There are currently more participants pre-registered for this year's event than last year’s. If
you are registered, packets will be available to pick-up at Tri-N-Run (13 N. Earl Ave,
Lafayette) on TODAY (Wednesday, November 27) from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Participants are
able to pick up their bib, shirt and race bag – and beat the rush on Thursday morning. If you
cannot make it to Tri-N-Run TODAY (Wednesday), race day packet pick-up will be from
7:00 – 7:30 a.m.
All pre- and post-race activities will take place at McCaw Park. The run/walk will still take
place on the Munger Park trail which starts on Creasy Lane, just across the street from
McCaw Park. There is ample parking at McCaw Park for race morning. The race does not
start in Munger Park on Greenbush Street.
Since temperatures are cooler, there will not be a water point on the course. Please plan on
carrying your own hydration. There will however be plenty of refreshments at the end of the
run/walk.
If you wish donate extra non-perishable food items
to Lafayette Urban Ministry there will be a collection box at the 5K event.
A map of the course is posted online HERE. Click HERE for sign up and get additional
information. We look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Annual Tri-N-Run GIVE
THANKS 5K Run on Thanksgiving Day!
