Because of Brandon, a fund-raiser in memory of BrandonHouge, a young man from Iron-ton who unexpectedly passedaway in 2015 from complicationsof diabetes, will be Saturday, July28, in Crosby. All proceeds willbe used to fund youth diabetescamps, patient travel expenses,and educational events.
The benefit for Cuyuna Re-gional Medical Center’s DiabetesEducation Department will in-clude a beer and wine tasting,silent auction, barbecue, raffle,and street dance featuring Pan-demic from St. Cloud, all at theCrosby Bar & Grill. Pandemicconsists of five musicians whoenjoy performing music from the80s. The band has performed atlocal venues in Central Min-nesota for several years and withnational acts Aultimate Ozzy,Steelheart, Firehouse, Warrant,Tesla, BulletBoys, LA Guns, Ratt,Loverboy and others.
The raffle tickets are for a2018 Alterra 500 ATV fromBrothers Motor Sports ($4,999value), Ruttger’s weekend withmeals and golf ($1,150 value), .22LR Barracuda gun donated byMagnum Research ($840 value),$150, and $50.
