Our intimate chapel is located on the ground floor adjacent to Macdonald Morlich Hotel and perfect for small religious ceremonies and christenings.

Intimate Suites

We have a choice of elegant suites in Macdonald Aviemore Resort that work perfectly for smaller weddings and celebrations.

Highlands Terrace

The ideal choice for a medium sized ceremony up to 100 guests. Enjoy stunning view of the Cairngorms from our terrace on the first floor of Macdonald Highlands Hotel.

Your Ceremony

We can cater for all different weddings including civil, humanist and religious ceremonies.

The registrar will need to be booked directly by yourselves. Please note that an external charge will apply. Booking is possible up to one year to the day prior to your wedding date.

This suite boasts its own fully-equipped kitchens, private bar, ballroom dance floor and portable stage. It’s the perfect choice for celebrations of any kind including an ideal venue for weddings with magnificent views overlooking the Craigellachie hills.

ACCOMMODATION

Macdonald Aviemore Resort has three different 4-star hotels together with woodland lodges providing over 400 rooms for guests.

Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is 11am. If an early check in is required from 12 noon, a £30 charge would apply. Early check in subject to availability.

A family room will be required for children staying in the same room as adults. Cots and extra beds are available upon requires.

Use of Aviemore Activity Centre including our indoor pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath are complimentary for all guests staying in the resort.

Please advise friends and family to book their accommodation in plenty of time to guarantee availability and to secure their preferred room type.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR WEDDING

Once you have made your decision and confirmed a wedding date with us, the next step is for you to book the registrar, church or celebrants. We will then send you a contract outlining the basic details for your wedding and terms and conditions. We require a signed copy of your confirmation form along with a non-refundable deposit of £1,000. We look forward to planning this special occasion with you and providing you with the perfect day.
