THE WEDDING

THE VELLORE SUITE Our elegant ballroom which is tastefully decorated featuring high ceilings and beautifully styled pillars can seat up to 150 guests and 200 for a ceremony.

THE ADMIR ALTY SUITE With a gentleman’s club feel the Admiralty Suite has two fire places either end of the room oozing character. Ideally suited for numbers of up to 60 for a ceremony.

THE TEMPLE GARDENS Nestled amongst our stunningly landscaped gardens is our temple. The temple is licensed for up to eight guests and additional seating of up to 150. Our gardens are also the perfect location for a marquee wedding. THE KENNET SUITE This room is styled like it would have been when the house was first build. Perfect for weddings of up to 60 guests.

AVON BALLROOM The Avon Balloon room is licensed for weddings up to 150 guests. Tall elegant ceilings with magnificent chandeliers creates the perfect backdrop for your wedding celebrations.

The registrar needs to be booked direct by you. It is possible to do this up to 12 months prior to your wedding date.

The Superintendent Registrar will permit only a civil, non-religious ceremony. Any music, readings, words or performance must be secular. The content of the ceremony is to be agreed in advance with the Superintendent Registrar who will attend your ceremony.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all legal preliminaries for your wedding are completed and that the registration officers are available to conduct your ceremony.

YOUR DAY PACK AGE

When do you need final numbers and details? We will arrange a meeting with you approximately six weeks prior to your wedding day where all final details can be discussed and your contract updated accordingly. You will also meet with the team member who will be working with you during your special day.

What Deposit is required? A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £500.00 is required to secure your date.

What do we supply? As part of our commitment to you, our team will work with you and your suppliers to dress the room; we provide all the crockery, cutlery, table linen and staff.

Your Wedding Co-ordinator will work with you up to the day of your Wedding when our Food and Beverage Operations Team will carry you through your special day.

Can we bring our own wine or other beverages? You can bring your own wines or beverages however, there are corkage charges which will apply, please ask your Wedding Co-ordinator for details.

Can I have a band to perform at our wedding? Yes, you can have a band, DJ or Disco, we just will require a copy of their public liability certificate prior to the day.

Can we have confetti? We do allow biodegradable or natural confetti to be used outside in the gardens.

What time does the bar close and the music need to stop? Both the bar and the music will need to stop at midnight due to licensing.

What are the maximum and minimum numbers? We do not have minimum numbers for our weddings; we can accommodate anything from 2 to 250 for a Wedding breakfast and up to 250 for an evening reception.

The only exception to this would be for Bank Holidays or dates in high demand.

Can we bring in our own caterers? Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel prides itself on the food it serves and we can cater for all events, therefore, it is not possible for outside caterers to provide for your event.

What time can our guests check in and check out? Our check in time is from 3.30pm however, if a guest needs to arrive early we can offer storage for luggage and guest s are more than welcome to use the spa facilities and changing rooms should they need to. Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 11am.
