The Castlefield Rooms is the perfect location for a truly special wedding. With our city centre location we offer boutique, design-led facilities within easy reach for all your guests. Combine this with a choice of gourmet menus from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Castlefield and a spectacular setting on the Bridgewater Canal, Albert’s is the ideal venue for your wedding ceremony or reception.

Our spaces can cater for weddings between 30 and 200 guests – the stylish Brindley and Merchant Rooms for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions and the stunning Gallery Bar & Balcony for drinks receptions or smaller receptions.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies inachoice oftwo rooms: the Brindley Room and the Merchant Room.

SpacesatTheCastlefieldRoomsThe Merchant Room Designed by Stephenson Bell Architects, this is a stunning, modern room with floor to ceiling windows that provide unparallelled views over the Castlefield Basin. The Merchant Room can be used for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and drinks receptions and it offers additional space for the use of guests at exclusive use weddings.

The Brindley Room Its loft style beams are a give away of its humble beginnings as a carpenter’s workshop. An elegant space, perfect for ceremonies and drinks receptions. Traditional but yet contemporary, it is a beautiful room for any wedding breakfast or reception. It can also be used in conjunction with The Merchant Room for larger weddings.

The Gallery Bar & Balcony Our stunning bar and balcony is the perfect location for smaller receptions and drinks receptions. The beams of the old stable block provide a wonderful intimacy, whilst the spectacular external balcony provides a perfect view over the Castlefield Basin.
