Thank you for your interest in the Basking Ridge Courtyard for your wedding

accommodations. We would be honored and delighted to help you celebrate this

milestone with your family and friends! We invite you to treat your out-of-town

guests to the very best in comfort, space and style with spacious, flexible

gathering spaces perfect for groups of all sizes. We are pleased to present

several extras and add-on amenities for your consideration including in-room

packages, options for a post-wedding gathering or breakfast the following day.

Enclosed you will find some general information about our hotel’s amenities and

guest services, as well as helpful information about area businesses for your

wedding. For more information at any time during your planning process, please

feel free to contact your Event Specialist!

HOTEL GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS

Sleeping rooms are available at a special group rate during your wedding

weekend. Complimentary reservation insert cards are available to include in your

invitations. Guests must reserve this special rate no later than 3 weeks prior to

the wedding date (unless stated otherwise), at which point any unsold rooms will

go back into hotel inventory for public sale.

ROOMS AND SUITES FOR THE MARRIED COUPLE

One Standard King Bedroom will be complimentary for the married couple for the

night of their wedding, if (11) rooms are reserved and utilized. Please note that

complimentary rooms are not automatically reserved, as they must be applied to

an existing reservation. Bridal Suites are available for reservation 10 months

prior, through your Event Specialist at the designated suite rate, based on

availability.

AFTER PARTY OPTIONS IN THE BAR We invite registered hotel guests of the room block to utilize the hotel’s public Bistro Bar following your wedding. Please

note the following:

• All alcoholic beverages must be provided by the hotel. The use of coolers is prohibited in the hotel.

• New Jersey State Law states that outside alcoholic beverages are NOT PERMITTED.

• Last call will be at 12:30 AM, bar closes at 1:00 AM.

• Appetizers may be offered for purchase if requested in advance. Please refer to the menu on the following page.

• Alcoholic drinks can be brought outside to the fire pit, please check with Manager on Duty for fire pit instructions.

• Quiet Hours for the outdoor Courtyard are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

• Outside audio devices such as speakers are not permitted in the Lobby, Bistro, or Courtyard.

• Hotel reserves the right to deny any guest alcoholic beverages.

• Hotel reserves the right to ask guests to retreat to guest rooms at any time.

Monday – Friday 6:30am – 9:30am, Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am – 11:00am

Voucher includes choice of the following 2 options:

TRANSPORTATION INCLUSIVE RATE With a Transportation Inclusive Group Rate, the Courtyard Basking Ridge will provide and coordinate shuttle service for

your guests to and from the * WEDDING VENUE * if 11 or more rooms are reserved in the block. Shuttle service is

provided by a 3rd party transportation company and is ordered specifically for your group. The shuttle schedule will be

organized after your cut off date, once all reservations in the room block have been made. The Transportation Company

owns a wide variety of vehicles including large shuttle busses and coach busses- vehicle type is determined based on

the size of the room block.

Shuttle details are below:

Transportation is available to a coach bus accessible venue on the WEDDING DAY. If a minimum of 11 rooms are reserved at the

group rate on the day of your event, transportation will be provided to take your attendees to and from the WEDDING VENUE. One

vehicle, large enough to transport all guests in two trips from the Courtyard Basking Ridge to your WEDDING VENUE, and back,

will be provided for your guests. The size/capacity of the vehicle utilized will be determined based on an average of two people per

room. Overtime (exceeding 7 hours) is available at an added cost ($100 per hour). Requests for more than (1) vehicle on the

WEDDING DAY can be accommodated at an additional cost. Please reach out to your Event Specialist for advice on which

Transportation Company to contact to coordinate additional vehicles.

A specific departure and pick-up time will be required two weeks prior to your function. The allotted time for the shuttle service is

seven (7) consecutive hours. (Transportation is based on the room pick-up, the type/size of vehicle may vary at hotel’s discretion).

If the eleven minimum rooms are not reserved for the day of your event at the group rate by the cutoff date, transportation can be

arranged through the preferred vendor at an additional cost. If Bridal Party transportation does not fall within the 7 hour window,

vehicles can be arranged through your Event Specialist at an additional cost. If this occurs, any rooms booked under the

transportation rate will be adjusted to honor the lowest available weekend rate.

If *Wedding Party* does not meet the minimum required amount of eleven (11) rooms by the CUTOFF date, the shuttle will be

released.

Please Note: 1) Only the guests that book within the wedding room block will be able to take advantage of the shuttle service, as this

is a concession available to guests that book in the group block only. 2) Shuttle inclusive rates may be higher than hotel’s regular

rate.

Our Preferred Venues Include: The Stone House, The Primavera Regency, Fiddler's Elbow, Natirar, Ryland Inn, The Bernard’s Inn,

Basking Ridge Country Club, Hamilton Farm Golf Club, Trump National Golf Club, Jardin De Buis, Forest Lodge Catering, Olde Mill

Inn.

FAQ’S

Q. Can I add more rooms if my room block fills up? Am I held responsible for rooms that do not get booked?

A. You can reach out to your Event Specialist at any time to check on the remaining number of rooms in the wedding block. When there are

5 rooms or less remaining, your Event Specialist can check the hotel’s availability to add more at your special group rate. P lease note that

the hotel can sell out of rooms at any time. The hotel is not responsible for room availability above and beyond the initial room block

commitment. Holiday weekends are a high demand time and there is limited availability. You are not held responsible for rooms that do not

get reserved. At 3 weeks prior to the event, any rooms not reserved will be released.

Q. Can I receive a list of who has booked in my block?

A. Once the room block is ready for reservations (which is 10 months prior to the wedding date) your Event Specialist will be able to provide

you with a list of reservations made under your block upon request.

Q. When is check in/check out, can I check in early?

A. Early check in may be requested and is based upon availability, approximately 1 week prior to event. Check in is 3pm and check out is

12pm.

Q. When do you order shuttle service?

A. Following the cut off date once all reservations have been made.

Q. When can I find out if I can reserve a bridal suite?

A. You can inquire about a suite reservation 10 months prior to your wedding with your Event Specialist, suites are based availability.

Only (1) suite per wedding block is permitted.

Q. How are welcome/gift bags distributed to our guests?

A. Gift bags can be dropped off to the front desk 1 day prior to group arrival and should not be personalized with individual guest names. All

guests booked under the group will receive a welcome bag.

Q. What if wedding guests book outside the block at Marriott Rewards, AAA, Advanced purchase discounts etc.?

A. Guests that book outside of the block are not accounted for as part of the group block, therefore not included in the shut tle count. If this

occurs, please contact your Event Specialist.

Q. Do the wedding couple receive a complimentary room?

A. One Standard King Bedded room will be complimentary for the wedding couple on the night of their wedding, if (11) rooms are reserved

and utilized. Please note that complimentary rooms are not automatically reserved, they must be applied to an existing reservation. Special

room requests including adjoining, handicap accessible etc. will be made by the Event Specialist.

Q. When will I hear from my Event Specialist to start planning details?

A. As reservations cannot be made until 10 months prior to event date, your Event Specialist will reach out in a timely manner according to

the date of your event.
