Our wedding Ceremonies are held in the Baronial Hall. Its high beamed ceiling, heraldic stained glass and Minstrels Gallery create a timeless and magical atmosphere. This exquisite hall seats up to 100 people and leads

to a private cobbled courtyard.

The Orchard Hall seats from 70 –100 guests, this light airy room has two large private terraces which are often frequented by our friendly peacocks. Adjacent to our stunning

botanical gardens which are alive with interest all year round with carpets of snowdrops, a spectacular Wisteria, fragrant roses, and cherry blossoms. This is a

delightful space to build fond memories.

The Groombridge Estate boasts over 200 acres of beautiful parkland offering large areas to accommodate marquees of many shapes and sizes. The Marquee Lawn,

which is located opposite the manor house, can accommodate marquees for weddings up to 200 guests. The grounds surrounding the estate which offer

uninterrupted views of the Kent countryside, provide large open spaces for bigger celebrations of up to 400 guests. A wonderful space to entertain your guests for

any size wedding breakfast and reception party.

THE SECRET GARDEN

Following the moat alongside the Groombridge Manor House you will find a hidden wooden door which leads to The Secret Garden. Here you will have the perfect photo back drop for shots of your loved ones, such as family portraits amongst the beautiful blue agapanthus, foxgloves and gazania. During the spring months, the delicate Pink

Cherry tree covers the ground with it’s confetti.

THE WHITE GARDEN

The White Garden is a celebration of the art of planting, in shades of white featuring over 20 varieties of white rose. To ensure season-long beauty other flowers have been planted such as foxtail lilies, primulas, tulips, peonies, poppies, hyacinths and lavender.

Another picturesque backdrop to cherish your wedding day photos forever.

Jane Austen’s classic love story “Pride and Prejudice” which was released in 2005 starring Kiera Knightley, was filmed here at Groombridge Place. With scenes including the Bennett family running over the moat bridge into the gardens, under the canopy of the tall trees: now referred to as the Pride and Prejudice trees. Set the scene for your

wedding day with your guests arriving over the bridge, reliving the famous film scenes.
