What We Learned?

• 2010 is looking up from 2009

• What we experienced in this downturn depends on the type of Membership organization your represent

• On-site sales have been the strongest source of new members

• Renewals have been more challenging than acquisition of new members

• On-Site sales have been record setting

• Direct Mail has continued to be a good source of new members

• Conditions improved as the year progressed

• Campaigns “on hold” were added back to the mix

• Uncertainty has lessened from a year ago
