#Ikigai
@tracyvds
Ikigai (生き甲斐, pronounced
[ikiɡai]) is a Japanese concept meaning
"a reason for being".
Everyone, according to the Japanese, has an ikigai.
Finding it requires a deepand often lengthy search of
self. Such a search isregarded as being very
important, since it is believed that discovery of one's ikigai brings
satisfaction and
meaning to life.

What do we do different? We offer mentorship and coaching to
support your team and ensure that you
reach your goals. This includes guidance on
developing your Governance, Change
Management, Training and Communication
Plans. As the End User should always be the
focus (not the solution), we pay special
attention to how solutions are launched,
how you communicate with the users as
well as very importantly – getting their
feedback and buy in.
![Page 37: Webinar 28 Jan 2016 Tracy van der Schyff](https://reader031.fdocuments.in/reader031/viewer/2022030304/587a75ac1a28abf0468b4fdb/html5/thumbnails/37.jpg)
Why do we do it?An employee equipped with the correct skills,
to not only be effective, but efficient as well, will
have high levels of psychological well-being
and job satisfaction. Just as we believe that
products or solutions cannot fix processes
(people do), we KNOW that stand alone
traditional SharePoint training will NOT ensure
user adoption.
Empowered users embrace the technology that
empowers them and will adopt a system that
makes them look and feel good.
![Page 38: Webinar 28 Jan 2016 Tracy van der Schyff](https://reader031.fdocuments.in/reader031/viewer/2022030304/587a75ac1a28abf0468b4fdb/html5/thumbnails/38.jpg)
What are the results?• “I have obtained a skill on how to search better and
the link between my PC and SharePoint.”
• “I've learnt so much, not just about SharePoint, but
how to use my pc effectively - search tips, shortcuts,
editing images, etc.”
• “This training helped me to understand how useful
SharePoint can be at work. It can make everyone's life
easy.”
• “The training developed my understanding of
SharePoint and the value it brings into the workplace,
it developed my skills in data capturing, data sorting
and overall PC skills. I now understand the value of
metadata and the other processes that are involved.”
• “I Love SharePoint now! Used to hate it!”
