The purpose of the change reporting function in the Access Health CT website is to provide users with the ability to update pertinent information.
Keep this in mind:• Each time a consumer reports a change to an application a new
“Application ID” is created.• If you make a change follow it through to the point at which eligibility is
determined.• Use MAGI as a guide when entering income Information.• To enroll in another plan contact the Call Center
Note: Use Anonymous Browsing for shopping options; not Change Reporting!

CHANGE REPORTING: TWO TYPES of CHANGES
• There are 11 options to choose from on the screen in order to make changes.
• In our review today we will cover two common changes.
• Add a household member.
• Add income from another household member.
(Based on feedback we can cover other scenarios in the future.)
Report a Change: Build Household - Change #1: Add Member

Report a change in Income or Household
The screen to the left is used to report a change. Changes include life events of the primary applicant or his/her household.
If a person is making a change for the first time on the application, the link “Report A Change” in income or Household will be displayed.
• “Report a Change Screen” indicates some of the input documents needed to provide the information needed to report the change.
• For example, birth certificate, marriage certificate, pay stub,1040 tax form, company statement.
• Click “Next”.
Report a Change: Build Household – Change #1: Add Member

“Reason for Changes Screen”
• Click on the type of change(s) desired. select all changes that you will be making.
• In this example, the consumer selected “Add or remove household member” and “Change household income or deductions”

“Household Members Screen” lists all current household members.
• Review that current member are listed correctly.
• On the bottom right, click “Add Member”.

• Add a household member include name, date of birth, social security number, gender, answer question on need for health coverage, answer whether social security number is the same, reason for addition, date of change.
• Fields with red asterisk are required.
• Just a reminder - click the box “Don’t have social security number.” if the new family member (such as a newborn) has not yet received a Social Security #.

• Fill in the data boxes
• We’ll choose “Birth” as the reason for change. (This is one option in the drop down menu birth, adoption, placement for adoption, marriage, and other.)
• Make sure to enter date of birth (for example, 01/01/2014).
• Click “Save”

CHANGE REPORTING
Have created a new household member. Next step is filling-in individual details. This information is added to ensure correct eligibility, and includes:
1. State residency2. Pregnancy3. Disability4. Citizenship/Immigration5. Tribal status
Note: the system would normally display each household member’s information, for clarity those redundant screens will not be shown as part of the review.
State Residency ScreenThis will confirm whether the new family member resides in or outside the state.
(Example where this is pertinent: recently divorced parents with a new child). • Click “Next”.

CHANGE REPORTING
- Process check -Stated that this session focused on an example that made two changes – “add a family member” and “change household income”. If the second change was not selected, the system would go to Eligibility Status for the new family member. Because of the second change, the system flow will continue as follows.

• Select the correct filing status and identify which tax payer is the primary filer
