By dinner, there were six girls altogether. How many girls came in the afternoon? Refer to the Words Their Way (spelling) Please remember that we sort and work on our “SPELLING”/Words Their Way lists each night. The parent check sheet will guide you. Do the top side the 1 st week and the reverse side the 2 nd week. Our test is every 3 weeks. We have groups working on 3 levels so far this year. . Social Studies

This is our last week to study consumers, goods and services, and ventures---learning to live in the real world/money.

We will then move on to animal study.

Math We will continue to work on ‘word problems that add to a number: example: There were 4 girls in the park in the morning. By dinner, there were six girls altogether. How many girls came in the afternoon? Refer to the Engage New York website Module 1 for hints on strategies used. Lessons 9-13 next week. (https://www.engageny.org)
