Position: Administrative Assistant Grade: Kent Range 3 Responsible to: Office Manager Purpose of the Job: To provide general clerical or administrative support to the school under the direction or instruction of the Office Manager. Key duties and responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, completion of routine forms. This could be directly supporting the Senior Leadership. 2. Update manual and computerised records/management information systems. 3. Ensure Care Plans are created and maintained for all relevant pupils 4. Create and maintain medicine administration records for pupils 5. Ensure all school staff and kitchen staff aware of pupils with significant medical needs and allergies by creating and maintaining a central record of children with medical disorders 6. Assist Inclusion Manager with general administration duties 7. Assist Inclusion Manager with arrangements for visits, for example by school nurse and other meetings as required sending relevant documents to participants Individuals in this role may also undertake some or all of the following: 1. Undertake reception duties; act as first point of contact in response to telephone and face-to-face enquiries, sign in visitors. 2. First point of contact for sick pupils, liaise with parents / carers / staff.

SLT termly7. Help with the Class Folders by providing all the medical information and keeping it

updated8. Administer CoolMilk Scheme for school9. Qualified First Aider (or prepared to be trained as such)

SIMS experience (or prepared to attend training)
