2. For nouns ending in sh, ch, s, or x, add “es” to the end of the word. Ex: churches

3. For nouns ending in y that follows a vowel, add “s” to the end of the word. Ex: toys

4. For nouns ending in y that follows a consonant, change the y to i and add “es”. Ex: candies

5. For nouns that end in o after a vowel, add “s” to the end of the word. Ex: rodeos

6. For nouns that end in o after a consonant, add “es” to the end of the word. Ex:

7. For nouns that end in f or fe, change the f or fe to “ves”. Ex: leaves.
