BROADSTAIRS TRIP

1ST DAY(10-february, Sunday):We have to be at the high school at quarter past six because we went by bus to the airport.

When we arrived to the airport we checked our suitcases and we spent some time there, at half past ten our flight took off and here started one of our best week in our lives.When we arrived at Gatwick airport a bus took us to Broadstairs English Centre, our high school for one week, here were all our host families and in pairs we went to our house with the host family.We spent all this evening with them playing some games and watching a film and then we had, like every night, night activities.

2ND DAY(11-february, Monday)This was our first day of classes and when we arrived at the high school we had to look in some lists because we were divided in classes according of our level with other nationalities students like Italians.We made a presentation class and then we had a break time to had our pack lunch in a time of three hours more or less.At quarter to two we came back to classes and we made an observation quiz all around the beach.At five o clock we went to our houses and had a shower and dinner and later, like every night, night activities.The first night was drama with some teachers and it was a really entertaining experience.

We finished that activity at half past nine and we went back to our houses to sleep and get prepared for the next day.

3RD DAY(12- February, Tuesday )Again in the morning we went to the high school at half past eight, earlier than usual, because we had to take a train to Canterbury, a beautiful town near Broadstairs.

We spent the whole morning there and then we had lunch in the train our pack lunch because this afternoon we had some classes. In pairs we created our county and all its characteristics; it was a really fun class!Like every day we went home and had our dinner time, talking with the family and later we went to the high school and we did a quiz night with questions and songs and we spent a really good and international night because we did it with Chinese people!

4TH DAY (13-february, Wednesday)In the morning we had some interesting lessons, then we ate our pack lunch and at five p.m. we arrived to the house. Like every day the family had prepared for us a delicious dinner.Later we had a shower and we went to another high school, called Charles Dickens school and the reason of that was the karaoke.We spent a really funny night singing some songs with Chinese students.5TH DAY (14-february, Thursday)In the morning we went to do some orientation classes and things we were going to see the next day in London and then the lessons of the evening consisted in a coastal walk to Ramsgate, a village its very near Broadstairs and we went walking in this village we were allowed to buy present and visited it.

Later we went to the house and we spent some time with the family.

Our night activity of this day was martial arts and a qualify teacher taught us some of the most important movements.

6TH DAY (15-february, Friday)This day was very expected by all of us because we spent the whole day in the big capital, in London!

We took a train and after two hours more or less we arrived at one of the train stations in London, Vitoria’s station.

We were with a touristic guide and they were explaining us the most important things. We made a long walk starting in the Westminster cathedral, later we went to 10 downing street (the house of the prime minister of England) and here we saw a change of the guard also to Westminster abbey, after that we saw Big Ben and London Eye, Trafalgar Square and we continued walking umtil we arrived to Camden town, here we had some free time to have our lunch and spent some time around London buying some things and taking some pictures.

In the afternoon we went to the Buckingham palace and to the British museum in which we did an activity around the different places in the museum.

The day wasn’t stop there because we took our back train to Broadstairs and we went to the high school to have our dinner because that night was disco night! It was unforgettable.

7TH DAY (16-february, Saturday)The last day arrived so this morning we got up had our breakfast with the family and made our suitcases.

The family took us into the high school and we had to say goodbye to everyone because our bus left the road to the airport.

In the middle of the way we stopped in a shopping centre to do the last shopping and at lunch time we arrived to the airport to see our families and friends again.
