Sounds Make Words: The children have this book at home with them but there is also some useful online resources. If you go to the “General Websites” tab on our school weebly page, you will see the login details for Folens. Login and search for Sounds Make Words 2nd Class. Select “Resources”, there is lots of interactive games the children can play to revise sounds.

DEARDEAR; Drop Everything and Read (Children read for 10-15 mins)
Children can read anything they want to here. Ebooks are available at the link below.
https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page/?view=image&query=&type=book&age_group=Age+7-9&level=&level_select=&book_type=&series=#
If you click this link you can register for hundreds of free e-books suitable for your child’s level. Reading is probably the most important thing your child could be doing! I have selected the age group 7-9 but feel free to select which one you feel your child would be most suited for. They also have them graded by level; your child should have a fair idea of what level they are on in school.
