ShapeMake up a board game to summarise all of your learning about shape. Remember we have looked at 2D and 3D shapes, their different properties and nets.
Maths Scavenger Hunt All you need is some creativity and a garden or home full of measurable objects! Try to find as many different objects around your house or garden with as big a range of lengths or weights as possible! Be creative with how you are measuring things as remember not all units of measure are standard cm/m/ml/g/KG etc. It could be pencil lengths, a hand span or the weight of a glass you measure your objects in!
Fractions, Decimals & PercentagesWatch:- Percentage of an amount Possible Worksheets:- Core Learning: Percentages of amounts- Additional Learning: Percentages of money (mild/spicy/hot options)- Some extra practice
PEEquipment needed: A couch, some pillows, cuddly toys, towels and a stop-watch.
Activity: With parents or carers permission, create a trail using whatever equipment you can find at home to get from one point to a couch or seat in your house. Keep all the equipment on the floor but the trail can be as long or short as you want. You then need to complete the trail as quickly as possible. Maybe you could have a family challenge and see who is the quickest! You will be focusing on skills such as balance and coordination.

EngineeringUsing any recycled materials, plan and create your own mini golf course! Think about angles, slope, distance and desired speed. You could even have ‘easy’ and ‘hard’ rounds. Use kitchen utensils or create your own clubs. Compete with those at home to see who can get the lowest par!
If you have the space you might want to construct bigger obstacles for your mini golf course outside.

ScienceSink or SwimUsing the different fruit and vegetables you have at home, predict which you think will float or not, giving your reasons why. What happens if you remove the skin? Do you notice patterns across the items that float or not? You could time the rate of sinking and record.
Fly or FallUsing materials around the house, such as paper, balloons, feathers etc, predict which you think will stay in the air the longest, or travel farthest. What happens when you change the texture, such as crumpling? You could
Pitching the BusinessCreate and deliver an ‘elevator pitch’ - or short snappy summary - to persuade your chosen audience (at home or virtually) on your idea. You will then ask your audience for feedback. The prompt questions on the attached PPT will be helpful for you.

When you are readyPrepare a short presentation (3-5 mins) including all relevant details about your business and product or service. Imagine you are to ‘pitch’ your Circular Economy to others, as we have done with our Dragons Den in class!
Questions to ask yourself:-Is your product pitch clear, engaging and persuasive for your intended audience? -Do you have all the details you need if someone were to ask questions about your product/service?-Have you taken on feedback?
ArtRainbow scavenger hunt! Find objects around the house in each colour and arrange them into a rainbow design. Take a picture of your finished masterpiece and ask if you can share it with us!
For extra challenge you could also do the same with numbers! How many things can you find with each number up to 10? (No, you can’t write out the numbers)
OR
MusicUsing free apps such as Garage Band (Apple) or Music Maker (Android), create a piece of music! Use one instrument or combine a few different pieces of music together. This could be to accompany a song you’ve written, a theme for a TV show or film or simply something to make people smile or dance along to!
If you have instruments at home, of course you can create a piece of music without the app! Why not get other people at home involved with other instruments or singing?
Caring for the world Different religions have different values and beliefs. These have all been formed over many centuries and may continue to evolve over time. Can you compare at least 2 of the 5 world religions and analyse the pros and cons of each of those religions. I have found an example template you can use for this or you can make your own one up. Don’t forget to explain your thinking behind these pros and cons.
How do these beliefs shape our community and country in your opinion? Write a paragraph about this or share your views with us on Teams.

Again, the ‘Memory Game’ would be your easiest game to play as it is like pairs and has various levels of difficulty. The next level up would be ‘Drag and Match’ and finally the ‘Concept Race’ would be the most challenging activity.
Feel free to explore other games on this site to revise the Spanish we have covered so far in
worksheets are included too if you wish to use them.

Using materials of your choice (safely) create positive words, quotes or messages to enjoy. Eg. You could create the word ‘smile’ in stones or use chalk to leave motivational messages for people walking or jogging outside.
StorytellingThink about some of your favourite childhood stories or choose a favourite book from home. Record yourself reading this to create a bedtime story for a younger child. Share this with someone to brighten their day.
