Rail Sustainability Award Criteria and Instructions CRITERIA This category is open to organisations (not individuals). Nominees must provide evidence of excellence in one or more of the following criteria: Demonstration of applications or solutions in the area of Sustainability and Environment for rolling stock or infrastructure projects, in one or more whole-of-life aspects such as procurement, manufacturing source materials, production processes, maintenance materials and practices, maintenance facilities, or disposal of sub-components and assets. Demonstration of creative or novel Sustainability and/or Environmental solutions in areas such as technology, society, community, or economy and how they are proactively being used to generate modernisation and competitiveness of the rail sector, particularly without waiting for legislation. IMPORTANT CONDITIONS OF NOMINATION One of the criteria must be addressed in the nomination. Nominees are strongly encouraged to include supporting material. Projects or practices should ideally be transferable so that the solutions can be taken up by other projects or areas of the rail industry. SUBMITTING YOUR NOMINATION To submit your nomination, respond to the questions on the Rail Sustainability Award Nomination Form. CRITERIA

This category is open to organisations (not individuals).

Nominees must provide evidence of excellence in one or more of the following criteria:

Demonstration of applications or solutions in the area of Sustainability and Environment for rolling stock or infrastructure projects, in one or more whole-of-life aspects such as procurement, manufacturing source materials, production processes, maintenance materials and practices, maintenance facilities, or disposal of sub-components and assets.

Supporting material must also be saved clearly with attachment number, category title and nominating company.

If the nomination has an ISCA rating, evidence should be attached.

If sending multiple nominations, please send each in a separate email.
