SAMPLE COMPUTATION FOR THE RESULTS:
FOR ALL POINTS
H.I. = ASSUMED ELEVATION + B.S.
ELEVATION = H.I. – F.S.
FOR H.I. OF BM1
H.I. = 900m + 2.5m
H.I. = 902.5m
FOR ELEVATION OF 00+010
ELEVATION = 902.5m – 2.31m
ELEVATION = 900.19m
FOR ELEVATION OF TP1
ELEVATIONTP1 = 902.5 – 1.73
ELEVATIONTP1 = 900.77m
FOR H.I. OF TP1
H.I.TP1 = 900.77m + 2.41m
H.I.TP1 = 903.18m

CONCLUSION
Profile leveling is one of the methods that are very useful in surveying a road or a field. It will show us the profile of the road, the elevations of the road, and the uphill and downhill sections of a specific road or a lot.
In this activity, we are tasked to come up with the profile of the Speaker Perez street in Quezon city. With the help of a precise level and 2 leveling rods, we are able to finish the field work just in time. During the time of the field work, each of us experienced to use the precise level and each of us developed our skill in leveling in surveying. Some of us mastered the art of using a precise level during the field work.
The field work requires a team work and our group have shown it through the task. We also acquire the knowledge of plotting the profile of Speaker Perez street through discussions and examples inside the Mapua campus. Profile leveling is a technique that will not just be used for this field work, but also throughout our engineering careers.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The next group that will go to the said location must first check if their materials are correct, especially the precise level. If the assistant gives you a theodolite, return it as much as possible before you left the campus to avoid going back from the said location to the campus and replace the theodolite by a precise level. The next thing that I want to say is that, they must be prepared for this field work physically. The long road will make them tired because of walking and the road is an uphill and downhill road. Also, before going to the said location, you must be a master of using the precise level and ultimately know its concepts to avoid interruptions and errors during the fieldwork. Also, make sure that the recorder knows how to record the data and knows the difference between meters and centimeters. Lastly, get the data from the leader before leaving the campus after the field work, because the leader might leave you hanging until the passing of the field work report.
DOCUMENTATION
The picture on the left shows one of our groupmates getting the IFS of a specific point, far
from us, for the data.
The picture on the right shows the instrument man getting a backsight or a
foresight for the data.
The picture on the left shows our group riding a jeepney
going back to the campus after the field work from Speaker
Perez street.
The picture on the left shows the instrument man aligning the bubble of the precise level
into the center of the circle.
The picture on the right shows our groupmate, holding the leveling rod on top of the point, waiting for the instrument man to
align the bubble.
