Did you notice a special holiday on Sunday, May 10th? Mother’s Day! It’s a day we celebrate our moms, how much we love them and how awesome they are! What are some things you like to do with your mom? My mom and I like to go shopping and cook together. When I was little, my sister and I would cook my mom breakfast on Mother’s Day. It was always nice to spend the day together. Start thinking of some ideas of things you can do for mom on Sunday. Maybe you can sing her a song, do a dance, ask her what she needs help with, draw a picture for her, give her extra hugs and kisses, read a book to her...there are so many ideas! Mom loves you so much, so she would love some special time with you. In school, this week, we would be working on making a card and craft for mom. Since we can’t do that together - make sure you make mom a special card to give her on Sunday! What’s something special you might do for mom on Sunday? Shhh...don’t tell her, it’s a surprise! Just think about it in your head.
