CALL FOR PAPERS Current challenges and the future of monetary systems, central banking and financial architecture in Europe and Russia Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (Moscow) April 15 & 16, 2019 The Center for International Collaboration in Economic Research (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Economic Faculty), the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow School of Economics (Lomonosov Moscow State University) are pleased to announce 1 st scientific conference on April 15 and 16. The conference will be held on the campus of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow). The conference is co-organized with the Monetary Research Center (Bulgaria). CONFERENCE TOPICS A special attention will be paid on papers related to: - International Integration - International Finance - Monetary Systems and Central Banking - The EU/EMU Crisis - Varieties of Capitalism - Economic thought SUBMISSION OF PAPERS Please note that the topics of the papers are not limited to the main themes of the conference. Scholars interested in participating to the conference must submit an extended abstract in English (up to 2000 words) by 10 March 2019 at the following address: [email protected] The papers must be in English and include the authors full name and affiliation and also 3-5 keywords. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. Accepted authors will be notified on March 12. Especial attention will be paid to CICER fellows.

The Center for International Collaboration in Economic Research (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Economic Faculty), the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow School of Economics (Lomonosov Moscow State University) are pleased to announce 1st scientific conference on April 15 and 16. PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIESSelected papers will be published in a special issue of a scholarly international journal “East-West Journal of Economics and Business” (https://www.u-picardie.fr/eastwest). All submitted articles should be 7,000 words maximum, written in good academic English, report original research results (experimental or theoretical), which coincide with the main topics of the Conference and must strongly follow the requirements of the academic ethics. There is no submission fee for publication of selected papers.
