For further information please call 902-945-2221 Greeting Each Other: Catholics, together with many other Christian denominations, have been using greetings as forms for prayer for a long time. The most common greeting in the liturgy is scriptural, first seen in the book of Ruth “the Lord be with you,” with a different response: “the Lord bless you.” We now say “and with your spirit”. What should the greeting do for us? We should see that in greeting the Priest we are acknowledging his role in presiding over the assembly, but also that we are accepting the greeting he gave us first – that the Lord is with us and we are the Body of Christ. DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE Share the journey- no one should be forced to flee their homes. Every minute 31 people are forced to leave their. This year D&P focus is on refugees. More Info to follow!
