Rationale : The importance of learning a second language in primary school implies that students can learn,communicate and express themselves the same way as with their mother tongue. It can be through games,activities and worksheets. Thus also includes habits or custums of the second language.

From the logical point of view the students will be exposed to activities with the sole objective of communicating and socializing with their classmates. Some of the activities will be to recognize pictures with vocabulary, sing songs, info gap activities,matchings,etc

After that, I will write the date on the board and check attendance.First,I will tell them that they will have to see a segment from the film Rio. I will ask them if they have seen it and other extra information as if they know the characters,their names,etc. After that,I will show them the extract of the film but before that ,I will stick a photo on the board of the main characters-Linda and Blue.I will tell them that ,we are going to see what she does every day before starting with her day together with her pet.We will watch the video (00.06.22-00.08.30).Then,we will talk a little bit about the film and I will stick the events on the board and mime them.Students will have to copy the sentences written on the board in their folders.After that ,I will give them a worksheet in which they will have to put the scenes in the correct order so I will play again the extract twice.As a way of checking everything together,I will stop the video on the correct scene and I will make them repeat with me.Then,I will copy some sentences on the board and they will have to copy them and say if the sentences are true or false.The sentences are :

1.Linda sleeps on a sofa.

2-Blue makes lunch.

3.Blue and Linda eat cereals and toast for breakfast.

After that, I will write the date on the board and check attendance.Then,they will play a game in which they will have to find the other pair to form the sentences about the video(see sentences in the appendix).After that ,I will stick on the board a big clock and I will teach them the time but only o’clock and half past.Then,they will have to work on an activity in which they will match the clock with the correct sentence. (see worksheet Nº 2).

After that, I will write the date on the board and check attendance.Then,I will stick on the board six clocks,they are going to be divided into pairs and then they will have to come to the board,decide on a time and write it on the board next to the clock.After that,they will have to work with an activity in which they will have to put the events in order and then form three sentences with their own routine(this is going to take no more than 30 minutes,Because I will be checking while they are forming the sentences).The sentences are:

a. Linda brushes her teeth at 6.30

b. Linda and Blue wake up at 6.00

c. Blue has breakfast at 7.00

d.Blue opens the bookshop at 8.00

e. Linda dresses at 7.30

For homework,they will have to solve an activity in which they will have to write the time on the clock.This homework will be to correct in class.(See homework N°1)
