Where/how the designer, artist or illustrator fits within a movement or style

The cultural relevance of the movement, style, designer, illustrator or artist’s work

Public reception of movement or style, or of the designer, illustrator or artist’s work

Interesting/important biographical information

Description of materials, processes used

Select 4 artworks from your chosen designer, illustrator, artist, movement or style.

For each, include the following information (100 words for each approx.):

a. Identification of work: Name of creator, title of work (if there is one), date, location (if relevant), movement or style

PART 2 – Studio WorkCreate 1-2 artworks in the style of or inspired by your chosen designer, illustrator, artist, movement or style.

Your work may be 2 or 3 dimensional, in any medium.

Track your process: Collect inspirational images/materials Draw sketches Explore ideas Write notes of your ideas, ambitions, struggles, etc.

PART 3 – Reflection1. Write a 300-400 word reflection on your final piece(s):

a. What you set out to accomplish,b. The process you went through to create the piece(s), c. Any difficulties and how you overcame them, d. What you like about the final piece(s), e. What, if anything, you are not happy about, f. What you have learned in the process of making your piece(s)g. What, if anything, you would do differently next time.
