INTRODUCTION

We Aim to Achieve Excellence in Tech TrainingUnder the collaboration between KP-TEVTA and Pakistan Air Force (PAF), thirty institutes were outsourced to PAF for up gradation to model institutes. Under this concept, GTVC (W) Nowshera was outsourced to PAF in August 2016.The institute has made considerably improvements in all domains, including Administration, Academics, Finance & Procurement, Inventory management Security, Environment, Workshops & Training Equipment and automation etc.

Fashion Design is a field in which one will enable the trainee to understand and implement

the process of design development. It will also cover the practical skills and knowledge

needed to make a finished garment including pattern making, stitching and finishing. The

course is going to be especially helpful for the people who want to be economically

empoweredand self-sufficient.

FASHION DESIGN LAB

The Lab is equipped with latest machinery and training aid which include industrial lock stitch, industrial buttonhole machine, stitch machine and drafting tables. The objective of Lab is to facilitate the students to enhance their skills by performing different practical workto give them the opportunity of reasonable earning. Students are also taught surface design of fabric, basic block design, painting on fabric, embroidery and stitching of fabric according to latest design.2. COMPUTER OPERATOR (NVCL-II)

A computer operator is the person responsible for monitoring and controlling computer systems in a company or organization. Responsibilities include troubleshooting software and hardware problems, maintaining and improving system performance and online availability, maintaining all system and application documentation, and assisting personnel with computer problems. Other responsibilities depend on the employer but might include system backups, maintaining

Our Computer Lab is well equipped with latest corei5 desktop computers, Printer, scanner, projector and UPS backup. The Lab is facilitated with comfortable chairs and Air condition.

The training is given by qualified and trained instructors.This learning opportunity corresponds to the qualification of Computer Operator / IT Office Assistant and Diploma in Information &Technology (DIT) where students learn to Install, configure and operate office software, local area networks, internet and other computer applications, as well as maintenance of computers, peripherals and local networks, taking into account the technical specifications of computer equipment and the appropriate instruments and tools, while complying with all safety,

hygiene, health at work, and environmental protection standards.

4. DRESS MAKING (NVCL-II)

INTRODUCTIONThe Six Months Dress Makers training course is for those trainees who want to work in the garment making sector with the aim to learn, develop and practice required by the market. In this course, the emphasis is put on the trainee to acquire the ability to perform as a confident and competent Dress Maker. The beneficiaries are non-literates and people with low education levels. Besides in Pakistani tradition girls/women are expected to know tailoring to fulfill the basic sewing requirement at home. The Dress Design Making lab of the institute is installed with Stitch machine, Industrial lock machine, buttonhole machine and accessories used in dress designing. Training material to all students is provided in abundant quantity for practicing and developing projects. The lab is dedicated for dress making students to develop the diverse Scheme of dresses. 1. ATTENDANCE POLICY:

No candidate shall be eligible to appear in the final Examination unless the following conditions are

fulfilled:

If he fails to maintained 80 % attendance throughout the course. If he remains absent from institute for three (3) consecutivedays

without any proper approval.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT

At FMS-VTC, students are expected to abide by all the rules / regulations and code of conduct of the

Institute. Any act within / outside the campus that may violate or spoil the academic / discipline

atmosphere will not be tolerated and the students found guilty of such offence will be dealt accordingly.
