Design a poster
For a while now we have been thinking about Plastics in our Oceans. We know that plastic makes its way to our oceans in 3 different ways…
1. Down the plug hole2. Litter on the street that’s eventually blown / washed out to
sea.3. Landfill sites – rubbish that is blow / filters from the landfill
sites to the ocean.
We also know how harmful plastic is to marine life when it reaches our oceans.

Young students have designed a poster all about recycling. We know that recycling plastic is far better than just throwing it away after one use. The best posters have been selected and printed on the side of huge lorries. The posters are reminding people to recycle. You may have also noticed that these students are much younger than you. Although they have tried very hard to
create imaginative and informative posters, I think we could do an even better job!
Challenge! Create a poster all about recycling plastic. Imagine that it could be printed on the side of a lorry. It needs to be clear, with the right
information and to really stand out. Below are some posters that could give you ideas.
These posters are clear, bright and well presented.
You are welcome to use some of these ideas. Try to add words and sentences to your poster so people get a clear message. I look forward to seeing these posters! If your poster is extremely good, it may enlarged by Mr Stroud’s special printer and appear somewhere around the school!
