S t. Augustine, explaining the

struggles in the world around us, uses the imagery or two cities; the city of man and the city of God, which have been formed by two loves: the earthly by the love of

self, even to the contempt of God; the heavenly by the love of God, even to the contempt of self.

“The one,” states St. Augustine; “lifts up its head in its own glory; the other says to its God, "Thou art my glory, and the lifter up of mine head."

The souls in the city of man “became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened; professing themselves to be wise,"--that is, glorying in their own wisdom, and being possessed by pride,--"they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things."

The contest between the city of God and the city of man will last until the end of time. In the middle of the 19th century, both ‘cities’ explicated their opposing doctrines through two personages in two European cities, Lourdes and London.

These were Our Lady of Lourdes and Charles Darwin. Our Lady represented the traditional teaching of the Church; that man was created perfect by God, that sin entered the world through the fault of Adam, and that she, chosen to be the Mother of God, was exempt from sin from the moment of Conception. Darwin, claimed that he was a self made man, evolved as a result of chance, fitness, suffering and death, in a struggle lasting millions of years.

Science, derived from a Latin world meaning knowledge, was nurtured by the Church in the

Middle Ages, and many of the discoveries that have advanced and benefitted mankind were built on the foundations laid then.

Science, however, like any other intellectual discipline, is a two edged sword, cutting as directed by the hands that hold it. Science has, since the time of Darwin, often been in the control of those in the city of man, who use science to spread their errors; “glorying in their own wisdom, and being possessed by pride,--"

It is out with the scope of this short article to examine all the lying cuts that the sword of a hi-jacked science, has made against the truth, but we urge our readers to seek out some of the abundant material on this matter.

Immaculate Conception. Our Lady stated at Lourdes that she was the Immaculate Conception. It is the traditional teaching of the Church, and the bible, that Adam was created without sin. If, therefore, Our Lady is the (one and only) Immaculate Conception, the inference is that Adam was created without sin as an adult, not conceived from another source as a child.

Conception of Evolution.

Evolutionism, however was conceived and

nurtured by deceit and detraction. It was conceived by the promotion of the theory of

“I am the Immaculate Conception.”

A 747 can’t design and build itself – that’s silly – we build it… So the greatest of all architects must have made the great biological wonders that are all around us…everything…

Macro Evolution (changing from one species to another), as fact, even although this has been proven to be an impossibility. Other dubious or outright false theories have been promoted as true, such as that of claiming that the geological column is proof of gradualism and an old earth, which true science, hidden from the general public, sees it as irrefutable proof of a universal flood and a young earth.

It grew by means of deceptions such as the Piltdown man, Java man, Peking man, and other ‘finds’ which have all proven to be frauds of enormous proportions, yet much of the ‘city of man’ controlled media, the educational and scientific establishments hide the truth about these frauds as much as they can. This same cabal disseminates lies against the Church, the only true pillar of truth, and the bible, the book of the Church, but in truth the darkness and ignorance is in them, and not in the church.

Yet the truth, despite the deception and detraction which has smothered it for the last 150 years, is still alive and well, as shown by the recent book, “Darwin on Trial”, by

journalist and author Marco Respinti.

Respinti writes; “What is left, then, in evolutionism, that is valid according the scientific method? Nothing, actually nothing.”

He continues; “Not one of his postulates can be verified or certified based on the method proper to the physical sciences. His whole claim escapes verification. Based on what, therefore, other than on strong prejudices of an ideological nature, can anyone affirm or continue to affirm that the evolutionist hypothesis is true?

The advancement of the ‘Intelligent Design’ movement also points away from traditional evolutionist fantasies, and, if looked at honestly, can only point to the only intelligence capable of creating all the wonders around us; the one true God. Yes, true science has debunked the fantasies of evolution, and mankind must once again embrace the teachings of theology, the queen of sciences, and accept the truths about creation, the fall, and of the Immaculate Conception.
