JOB FAIR-2019 JOINTLY ORGANIZED BY PLACEMENT DEPARTMENT Soundarya Institution of Management and Science is one of the leading educational institutions in the field of Management and Science, in Bangalore. It was established in the year 2007 with 92 students; within a span of one and half decade strength of students has reached more than 1300. It reflects institution’s sense of commitment in the field of higher education and it also unfolds an academic learning environment in the campus. The institution has spread over in 9.2 acre with the state of art infrastructure, good academic ambience and aesthetic sense. Institutions of higher learning need robust interface with the industry in order to maintain the relevance of the programs offered. The Placement department of SIMS continuously interacts with the industry for internships, and placement activities for the student community of the college and bridging the gap between industry and academia, through mutually exploring the opportunities for students, institutions, professionals. SIMS believe that the responsibility is beyond academics to qualify their academics with colours.

This Event was organized in association with fresher’s job fair.in on 9thfeb 2019, at our campus. The job fair platform catered for diverse educational
coursesBCA,B.COM, BBA/BBM, B.SC, M.COM, MBA& IIT. More than 2000 students have registered online and around 850 students have registered on spot. More
than 50 companies have participated in job fair-2K19.
On the day of job fair, registration of the students was started early in the morning by 7:30, registration desks were aligned based on respective specialization. Companies also started coming early in the morning. Companies were given particular location at various wing’s room. A list of
companies and its requirements was displayed near registration and on all the display boards of floors. So that students can identify their choice of company.
Recruitment process:
We have provided all facilities to the industries for conducting their recruitment process. The process of recruitment was varying industries, most of industry representatives have followed all their process
like written test, group discussion & personal interviews etc.,
