AP Literature GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF! You’ve worked hard all year to understand the complex world of British literature. Now it is time to showcase that knowledge in tandem with your baking skills! This assignment can only negatively impact your grade if you do not participate, otherwise, this is an extra credit opportunity. Points will be awarded to the top three bakers. Here’s how to impress the judge(s): 1. Your baked good must obviously reflect one of the texts that we read this year, thematically or otherwise. 2. Your baked good must look good (i.e. somewhat professional--like you cared) 3. Your baked good must taste good! When: This will take place on Thursday, May 17th. You will bring your baked good into class, create your display card with the title of your baked good, the title of the text it is based off of, and one quote from your selected text that speaks to your delicious treat. I will assign you a random number, thus you will not display your name in an attempt to keep judgment non- biased. All final decisions will be made by Ms. Winter. Happy Baking! You’re welcome for not giving you a comprehensive essay final, like i was planning :)
