DAFT Workshop 26th September2014 12.00-2.00pm Research & Development Centre Kingsway Hospital Derby DE22 3LZ Working with families within Acute Adult Mental Health: A case study. Michael Napthine: Senior Family Therapist This workshop will give a brief introduction to the family therapy service in the acute adult sector before its main aim of providing a case study which will hopefully appeal to participants from any area. There will be plenty of opportunities to contribute during the workshop and share ideas. Michael is a Senior Family Therapist and Clinical Nurse Specialist working within the Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust Early Intervention Service working with psychosis and inpatient and crisis services. He is also part of the Systemic Training Programme at Derby University and a member of the DAFT committee. This workshop is free and both parents/carers and professionals are welcome. PPD Certificates are awarded. Come along with your lunch if you want to. No need to book.
