Highlights

During the library week students were introduced to different genres

EY 1 -Fairy tales EY 2 – Fables EY 3 - Folk tales Grade 1 – Poems Grade 2 – Adventures Grade 3 & 4 - Science fiction Grade 5 – Plays

- Everyday there was DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) for 15 minutes

- Tell a tale- Students created a book on the genre as the class activity.

- Bring your favorite story book from home and share it with a friend.

- On the last day students dressed up as their favorite character from a book and had a parade.

- Grade 3,4, & 5 presented a play and a puppet show to EY Students.

We invited children's author for story session, interactive session and workshops.

Ms. Katie Bagli- author of "Birds of different feathers" & " How blue is our planet". Read a story of BAU-BAU tree with a puppet show

Ms. Priti Vyas - Interactive session with students on peer pressure and read a book " Brown as dosa, samosa and sticky chikki.

Ms Shruti Kulkarni- narrated a story of a girl named ‘Chrysanthemum’ written by Kevin Henkes making a puppet.

Ms Parinita Shetty - The author of "when santa went missing" & " The Monster Hunters" took a workshop on how to create a character in a story,

Mr. Joy & Nilufer Fernades the author of " My A-Z Book of stories, poems and plays" took a workshop on how to write a poem with Grade 1 to 5 .
