    IN MEMORIAM: GARY WARE

Gary left us in August. Most of the members probably do not know who Gary was. He was a long time modeler and member of PCC, started when the club is flying at Alves Dairy. He was also the President of PCC at one time. From all accounts, He's the kind of guy you want to have on your side!

A Celebration of Gary's Life is scheduled:

WHEN & WHERE Please join us in a celebration of Gary's life

    Saturday, October 13, 2018

    11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Harrison Center, Lincoln Park

1450 High Street, Alameda, CA 94501 For more details,

    https://mwinsf.wixsite.com/garyware RSVP is requested.

SAFETY REMINDER Signs had been placed on Hwy 92 regarding the roadwork on Hwy 92 in the next two months. I guess they are resurfacing Hwy 92. Plus the pumpkins are out in force. Then the Christmas trees season is coming up quick. Plan your drive to PCC wisely as there will be much traffic delays on Hwy 92.

P.C.C. It was 10 years ago we left the field at the cliff and moved to the current site.

    WIND GENERATOR INSTALLATION

Trial fit the mast and fittings.

Feeding the wires through the mast.

The wind generator is up on top.

There is sign of life...err...power! !Left: Mast is up, but where is the wind generator? Many hands make raising the mast easier! Without the generator, it is just a giant flag pole! ☺

Another close call, this time is Phil's turn.

    Milton and Maurice.

Rich, Ray and the Jenny. PC: Burt R.
