PERSONAL GUIDANCE PROGRAMME : REGULAR BATCHES

A. GENERAL STUDIES INTEGRATED (GSI) - FOR PRE AND MAIN EXAMS

Course

Description

GS Integrated is a comprehensive classroom program which prepares aspirants holistically for

both the Prelims and Main stages of the Civil Services Exam.

Syllabi Preliminary Exam (Paper I - General Studies & Paper II - CSAT) and

Main Exam (General Studies Papers – I, II, III, IV and Essay)

Duration

9 months (Approximately 36 weeks)

Classes will be held for 4 hours, 5 days a week (according to the monthly time schedule)

Extra classes may be held to cover the syllabus on time

Inclusions

Besides lectures and talks on all the themes of the syllabus there will be special lectures on

contemporary issues, current affairs and essay writing.

Study material in all the compulsory papers of Pre & Main exam (except language papers)

Print subscription to Rau's monthly Current Affairs Analysis publication, “FOCUS”.

Class tests for Pre and Main exams for regular assessments

All India Test Series and QIP (P) (quality improvement programme) before Preliminary Exam

Test Series and QIP (M) before Mains Exam for those who clear Preliminary exam and are

going to appear in the Mains

Interview Guidance for those short-listed to appear in the interview/ personality test

B. OPTIONAL SUBJECTS - FOR MAIN EXAM

Duration

4½ months (Approximately 20 weeks)

Classes will be held for 2 hours, 5-6 days a week

Extra classes may be held to cover the syllabus on time.

The Study Circle starts NEW GSI - BATCHES from the month of JUNE every year.

IMPORTANT:

I. This is a common information leaf listing the available courses with the study circle. Please check the new

batch starting dates for the courses from the respective campuses or from the website.

II. Since our batches are small in size (only 80-90 students per batch) the number of seats is limited. Therefore

admissions are done strictly on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED basis.

III. To apply for membership of any of the above courses, fill-up the enclosed “REGISTRATION / ENROLMENT

FORM” and send the same to us by post or contact us personally along with :

2 passport size photographs

photocopy of Class Xth Certificate

photocopy of ID with address proof

IV. The Study Circle also conducts WEEKEND BATCHES for GS Integrated Course in English medium only. The

duration of weekend batches is approximately 14 months.

V. The fee can be paid through any of the following modes – Cash, Credit/ Debit Card, Demand Draft (favouring

''RAU'S IAS STUDY CIRCLE” payable at "NEW DELHI") or via Electronic Transfer ( RTGS / NEFT). The bank

VII. All the above charges are inclusive of GST, as applicable.

VIII. Request for CHANGE OF SUBJECT, REFUND OR ADJUSTMENT OF THE FEE will not be considered under any

circumstances.

IX. We provide assistance in respect of hostel/private paying-guest accommodation for boys and girls separately.

The hostel/paying-guest charges on twin-sharing basis, would be between ₹10,000/- and ₹14,000/- per month,

which include accommodation with meals.

IX. The Study Circle may, in its discretion, change the faculty, time-table, duration or the venue of the

sitting/session.

A. GENERAL STUDIES INTEGRATED (GSI) - FOR PRE AND MAIN EXAMS

Classes will be held for 4 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday (according to

the monthly time schedule)

05 : 30 PM to 07 : 30 PM

Sundays :

09 : 00 AM to 11 : 00 AM

11 : 30 AM to 01 : 30 PM

02 : 00 PM to 04 : 00 PM

04 : 30 PM to 06 : 30 PM

The class timings may vary slightly depending on the center of study. Contact your
