Vision StatementThe vision of Smith Middle School is to prevent juvenile delinquency and develop lawful, productive citizens through a broad range of family-centered services. The mission of the Smith Middle School is to educate and prepare our students for a successful future. We provide a safe, structured environment where at risk students can reach their full potential. We teach the foundations of respect, cooperation and place a high value on core curriculum achievement.

9th graders also had drastic increases scoring a mean DSS of 250/14 points above the district/10 above the state average
