Instructions to listen to the range of sounds based on the parameters selected:

Download and unzip folder called backend-weather-applicationOpen"index.html" in google Chrome only, as this is not cross browser compatible yet and was developed in chrome. Set the sliders to your desired weather state Press "Play"

The page must be refreshed to make any changes to the musical arrangementThe back end of the application which controls the sounds was developed using JQuery.User TestingA small number of people have been blind tested to see whether they identified with the sounds been played. Below are some of the comments:I like the idea although I find the sounds too abstract to identify with a type of weatherInteresting app, I can see it could benefit the visually impaired.Some sounds are too similar. This sample of user testing identified that if we were to introduce this application to the market place further testing with potential users will have to be conducted.Prototypes
