Wearing a Helmet On Quads.

• Quads are very dangerous and you can get injured or even KILLED if you don’t follow the proper safety procedures. As in my slide: Not wearing a helmet.

• It is estimated in 2005 there was 135,600 injuries due to be crushed by the quad or not wearing safety goggles. Most of these injuries were of adolescents, 136 of them fatal.

• It is required in some parts of the world to attend a training class for the “appropriate” riding class. (Like on every quad there is an age restriction).

• If you don’t wear a helmet when riding an off-road vehicle you could seriously injure yourself or die. There has been many fatalities and you don’t want to add to it.

• Here is the statement that we are supposed to do a paragraph on:

“I believe that making the positive choice to wear a helmet when driving a quad or dirt bike will impact

my life by teaching me safety skills and of course, not to kill myself too.”
