Mid-week Prayer Meeting will be on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. We are studying Early Writings. This week’s study is the “Historical Prologue” pp 1-18.

As we near the end of 2018, please remember our church family budget. We are running a deficit of over $50,000.00. A special Thanksgiving offering will be taken up on November 17 to help us get on track to closing out the year without a deficit. We will also be taking up a special Christmas offering on December 8 for the same purpose. Please consider prayerfully what you can contribute to help bring 2018 to a close on a positive note. For those who attended Karen Nicola’s Grief Recovery Workshop, and would like to become part of a Grief Care Team, please join us for an afternoon workshop by Karen on Sabbath, November 17. We are sorry to report that Wes Schimke has passed away. There will be a small graveside service at Cherokee Memorial Park this afternoon at 1:30 PM. Please keep his family in your prayers. Calls and cards are welcome and encouraged.

We announce the death of C. Duane Purdey on October 13. His Memorial Service will be on Nov. 17 in Calimesa and will be livestreamed at Calimedasda.com at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Lodi Educational Endowment Foundation at P.O. Box 272, Lodi CA 95241.
