Dear industry stakeholders, we have been experiencing a new area for nearly 20 years through the “National Technology Move” initiated by the Presidency of Defence Industries in the early 2000s. It is a period when the defence industry is nationalized, we gain the self-confidence, and we are liberating. It is a period when we have revolted against the restrictions and barriers that have been made so far...While approaching the 2020’s, the national manufacturing rate in the defence industry has increased approximately as 75 percent. We

have reached a period when hundreds of private sector companies are integrated into the

system, universities have developed projects that can be implemented together with

the industrialist, and our young people are excited to be involved. Turkey has taken its place among the world’s numbered countries through its products and systems that it has developed in the defence industry. We are moving closer to our goal of making Turkey a regional and global reference country with its own defence and aerospace industry instruments. Our domestic companies are producing in a manner that they can cooperate with important representatives and international manufacturers in the defence and aerospace industry in the world.As SAHA Istanbul, we have been working to ensure that this success continues to grow, with our mission that is a catalyst for national technology move that is shaping Turkey’s future. We are taking steps to bring the dynamic of the private sector, manufacturing potential to the defence industry, and to increase national platforms and high-tech manufacturing, especially in terms of increased exports.With our responsibilities on the way that we are driven by the vision of an independent Turkey in the defence and aerospace industry, we have undertaken a number of tasks so far to achieve the goal of the national technology move. With the support of SSB (Presidency of Defence Industries), we are organizing the SAHA EXPO

2020 Exhibition under the management and responsibility of the General Secretariat for the SAHA Istanbul Defence and Aerospace Cluster Association. At the SAHA EXPO 2020 Exhibition to be held at the Istanbul Expo Center between the dates of 04-07 November 5-6-7 Halls, the products of the companies operating for

designing, developing and manufacturing sub-systems and components of the most modern platforms, which will be used in the fields of defence, maritime, aviation and aerospace industry will be exhibited. The Exhibition, which will be held in a much larger area and with many more exhibitors, will be an international platform on which the increase in Turkey’s manufacturing potential is demonstrated by an independent manufacturing force. At SAHA EXPO 2020, the participating companies will come together with the main national and international manufacturers and will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and show their production capabilities and potentials. SAHA EXPO 2020 that will contribute significantly to Turkey’s national technology move will host representatives of many national and international institutions and procurement committees and many national and international strategic co-operations

Turkey that has been increasing its potential for high technology manufacturing with domestic resources is preparing for the future. The companies that have contributed to increasing national manufacturing of the defence industry are gathering at SAHA EXPO.

With the support of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), SAHA EXPO 2020 organized by the Defence and Aerospace Cluster Association, will be held at Istanbul Expo Center between the dates of 04-07 November at 5-6-7 Halls.

National and international networks will be established and signatures for important collaborations will be put at the Exhibition, which will bring together major contractors and suppliers in the defence and aerospace industry. GALA DINNER SPONSORGala Dinner Sponsorship will be granted to a company. The first company to respond positively will be considered sponsor.

Information on the Gala Dinner:1. The gala dinner will be organized on the first day of the Exhibition

in the evening.2. 750 people consisting of protocols, domestic and foreign VIP visi-

tors and Exhibition exhibitor, will participate in the Gala dinner.3. The dinner will be held at a venue to be determined by both the

sponsor and the organizer. Awards will be given at the dinner to sponsors and those supporting the Exhibition.

4. A stage and a backdrop including the logos of the sponsors will be installed, and a singer to be determined by the sponsor and the organizer will take the stage.
