WE at World Retail Congress Berlin, 2010
The students of We School were selected to participate in the Retail Futures Challenge at the World Retail Congress in Berlin, Germany in the month of October 2010.In all, there were six colleges competing in this Challenge where in they presented their inspirational ideas to Congress delegates at 2010’s event. They were briefed to create a store concept that captured the essence of their home city; the students have been working to bring to life Store Mumbai. This event was the key highlight of the Congress. Designed to showcase the future talent that exists in the industry from business colleges in both the developed and the emerging markets the Challenge allowed delegates to gain first-hand insight into the future generation of retail leaders.
Along with this a Visual Merchandising Competition was held supported by Skillsmart with RPA and McKenzie Clark. The competition was held to help bring to life the City store concepts. Delegates voted on their favorite Store Window and the prize was awarded to our Store Mumbai- Mumbai Meri Jaan.
