Please complete the Volunteer Signup Form and return it to us at any meeting… or mail it to TVWO c/o 307 Clegg St., Signal Mountain TN 37377 Need more information? Email Lena Hall, Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] We Need You! The Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones is led by a 100% volunteer board, and all of our programs and activities are implemented 100% by volunteers (only our instructors and presenters are compensated in any way). We invite ALL Wild Ones members to become more involved. Volunteering is the best way to meet others who are passionate about biodiversity and determined to garden and live responsibly. Members are an unrivaled source of knowledge on regional conditions and plants, and are willing to share both. Volunteering helps expand the chapter’s work in our community and increase our impact as we work to save the world, one yard at a time! And, if you’re working toward your Certificate in Native Plants, your volunteer time counts toward your volunteer requirements. Traditionally, members volunteer to join one or more of our committees. Committees have one or two chairpersons, who are usually members of the Tennessee Valley Chapter Board. Each committee is responsible for specific functions, and committee members may assist with selected activities. No experience is required to join any of our committees – all you need is willingness to jump in and help out. Please select any of the activities described in this brochure that are of interest to you … and then return the Volunteer Signup Form to us. We will be in touch with you when meetings are scheduled or as opportunities arise. Volunteer Opportunities
