Instructions for use, recommendations and dosesIf you use a speci�c toothbrush for dogs or cats, you should apply the toothpaste directly to the toothbrush and brush the teeth daily with WeDental® .

In cases where brushing is not possible, administer the suitable daily dose.For dogs: apply directly between the gum and cheek on each side of the mouth.For cats: apply directly between the gum and cheek on each side of the mouth or on a paw so the cat licks the toothpaste.

Generally, WeDental® can be used daily.If necessary, the teeth should �rst be scaled by the Veterinarian.

The presence of plaque and tartar is a result of the accumulation of bacterial products in the mouth, what contributes to bad breath and in�ammation of the gingival tissue.

If left untreated, the process on gingival retraction begins, leading to premature teeth loss, abscess formation and even bone infections with drainage paths in the nasal cavity.

In extreme cases, this dental and gingival process can lead to the infection of other internal organs through the transmission of bacteria into the bloodstream. Controlling the bacteria responsible for plaque formation is the key to a healthy mouth and overall well-being.

WeDental® has an anti-bacterial and anti-tartar action through three mechanisms:

Enzymatic ActionWeDental® has the "peroxidase system” e�ect. When in contact with the mouth, the lactoperoxi-dase produces hydrogen peroxide with antibacterial e�ect.

This "peroxidase system" e�ect also promotes the production and release of natural oral enzymes, such as Lactoperoxidase, Lysozyme and Thiocyanate Ion, with oral antibacterial e�ect.

Clinical studies demonstrate that the enzymatic system in WeDental® can protect the enamel. This system prevents plaque formation, inhibits the enzymes produced by Streptococcus mutans, decreases bad breath and improves oral health.

WeDental maximizes the Mechanical Abrasive Action Unlike humans, animals do not brush their teeth regularly, so they need a mechanical abrasive action to physically destabilize and remove plaque or tartar. WeDental® has developed an e�ective and gentle abrasive system which, through the action of a silicone form present in the paste, guarantees the brushing e�ect.

WeDental provides Zinc Ions with three mechanisms of action› Zinc ions bind to the sulphur released by the bacterial plaque, neutralizing bad breath. › Zinc ions act as catalysts in many enzymatic reactions, thus functioning synergistically with the peroxidase system.› Zinc ions are important in repairing collagen and in wound healing of animals with gingivitis.
