The number plates in Hungary have a white background with black letters. Usually a three-letter combination is followed by a three-number combination.The number plate contains the Hungarian flag (if it was issued between 1990 and May 1, 2004) or the flag of European Union. Under the flag there is our country code, letter H for Hungary.

If you want to drive a car you should be at least 17 years old in Hungary. From age of 16 you can drive a moped but until age of 24 you can’t ride a motorbike.
